Meditating today, I had a few things flash through my head.
1) That scene in
Star Wars where Yoda says, "Don't think...
feel"
2) Reports and documentaries on medical phenomenon, one being Ghost Limb Syndrome, where amputee's still "Feel" their arm.
3) Michelle Belanger's
Psychic Vampire Codex section about psionic "tendrils" to be used to alter/absorb energy in your environment.
4)
Elfen Lied, an anime about hyped-up telekinetic younger teenage girls with pink hair that rip each other to bloody shreds with invisible ectoplasmic extensions of their consciousness.
5) The one time I possible had any telekinetic connection with a pencil after a night of REALLY strong and exotic coffee.
6) The movie
Phenomenon with John Travolta, where he is spinning the sunglasses in his hand, and casually describes it: "It's just a connection between me and the glasses..."
Aside from the fact that these scenes flashed through my head in a course of less than eight seconds, these thoughts started to create a Venn-association with each other (I let my mind do that within certain limits, I'm always curious as to whatever pops out as a result, try it sometime!) and the following thought came out as the product:
"The same mechanism that judges phantom limb syndrome could possibly be used to
will extensions from your etheric body, link up with an object you desire and to it's etheric imprint (compliant with the given assumption that all things, animate and inanimate have an etheric makeup (
as above, so below principle)), and with practice, telekinetically alter said target/object/subject.
How is this done? I further meditated on this, and understood from the associations of the Venn model in my mind that "feeling" with the mind is a function of the emotions, or in another sense, the limbic system AKA the Midbrain. Therefore it is up to the midbrain to process telekinetic function. I came to this conclusion for two reasons:
1) The glands associated with the limbic system, pituitary and pineal, correspond with the upper two chakras, meriting some validity from a metaphysical perspective.
2) In my experience, even though the higher cortex deals with processing information, raw information processing in beta-wave form (typical of analytical and critical thinking) is not a factor in manifestation of metaphysical prowess (arguably).
So where does the phantom limb part come into all of this? Well, I looked at the situation logically and found the following leading to a conclusion: A person with phantom limb sensations would be feeling it on a part of the mind lower than the higher consciousness/superego, as trying to manipulate paradigm in that state of mind would mean willingly forcing yourself into a state of delusion, whereas the lower mind has no real say on what is real and what is not: It feels, therefore, it is.
"Why not use this same mechanism for telekinetic advantage?" I thought, "what if this is the very mechanism through which telekinetic attempts by metaphysics practitioners manifest?"
I will experiment with this, following my agenda of trying to meditate to the point of quieting my mind in it's area of higher functioning. That may reveal some answers when I get a shift in awareness.
I hope this little post was coherent enough, as I am trying to bring ideas together to make sense. There was alot to bring together, and I know---scratch that,
feel there is a link through the thoughts I had during my meditation and an actual bit of truth leading me somewhere.
Wish me luck (IMG:
