HAPPY SOLSTICE TO ALL!!!

had a lot of fun last night and its all 'downhere from hill' !!!

drank too much mead, danced too much, but wow was it wunderbar !!!

even had a chunk of honeycomb put in every mead, like we used to do dry ice on samhain

must get back to work, but that was fantastic

post your solstice 09 celebrations here

Went to a friend's house. Ate BBQ. Got drunk (4 beers, what a lightweight I am!!) Guests were there. My Salvadorian friend and his brother and cousin were hanging out there too. He wants to get political asylum. Best wishes to him.

Sobered up, went home. Slept.

im actually so bitter cuz i didn't get to celebrate! grrr. i worked two nights straight and then on that sunday off...i had to go out of town for my granddad's father's day celebration. took the whole day to get there cut the cake and go back. don't get me wrong I love my family...but i was disappointed that I couldn't restock my altar with the wild honeysuckle and wine offering I was planning...oh well, maybe the next day I'm free and I can go gathering (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I want to redecorate my altar too.

however on a lighter note....(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) i have a new offwhite cotton robe for my festivities (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ah I luvs the seasons!

it was a marvelous evening, i met a friend at nearby crossroads, we talked about the wonders of this place, clouds spat on our face, i could see light clashing throughout the southern sky, the rain picked up, we held hands, tried to fly, we talked of life, death, than laughed away the notions, the rain slipped between skin and cloth, dampened our emotions, i've only met her the night before, yet it seemed eons that we did adore, the stars slipped behind empowered clouds, the heavens opened their doors, she let down her guard, i left mine a while ago, standing in the street, two souls, and all else, i starred deep into her black eyes, she plunged into mine, when the sky lit up eye could see, her emerald beauties glisten nigh, emotions cocooned, wrapped up within, and with a softened whisper "let go" i walked on home.

My midsummers plans fell through a bit as well... I was going to do an amulet consecration spell on a necklace I have, and then it broke before I was able to do it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/badmood.gif)
