Make yourself at home and have a look around. You might find threads with useful information on what you are interested in. You might want to ask questions from time to time. Hopefully they are good intelligent questions, but really there are no bad questions. Likely someone else is wondering the same thing, but are afraid to ask. We only ask you to have a look around first. Maybe someone has already asked the same question---repeatedly in some cases.
Feel free to join into the discussions when you have an interesting thought. The only other thing I can think of is that this is a diverse group of people. You mention being Christian. Some of us are Wiccans, or Buddhists or whatever. We treat each other with consideration and mutual respect until they show that they aren't deserving of it. This is luckily rare. In any case, welcome and have fun. We have some good people around here.
