I guess Tintangle Castle or more specificlly the cave beneath would be the place to do this.
I've read some material on Druidic Covens doing some hectic workings at Tintagle but these writtingss didn't really give out the glorious details. Any Ideas on how one might proceed to do something like this? time, season..ect
I have never intentionally summoned the dead, But wouldn't Mylin be considered an Accended Master? My apologies to any of you "Forum Road Dogs that have probably run across this(many times) before?.. I'm very inquisitive tonight Lol.
I long for the day that I may be able to return to the land of my birth as I feel a deep connection to britain. even if only 1/2 of my heritage is from there; (Italy is the other). Any writtings someone might be aware of that detail an envocation of Myrlin?
I've read D.Fortunes poular texts on Avalon, But haven't come across any specifics on sucessful conjurations of Myrlin...yet!

Right after this experience, I got a private message on this recomending; to Not call up the dead, but instead go to where he(Myrlin) is and polightly knocking. Some of you Necromancers may feel differently about calling up the dead?
Heres a description of what happened; This wasn't planned at all it just unfolded. I was doing my usual nightly excercises but Myrlin had been on my mind for more than a few days.
I set up an astral circle with all the proper banishings ect.. then proceeded to build a strong field of light via advanced mdlplr. After I equilibrated/circulated the energy , I began to mediate on Mylin and how I might establish contact and what he might look like. I concentrated on how much i desired to see him. This wasn't a "proper"evocation by any means & I really didn't expect anything to happen. After what seemed like a while still in the circle much to my amazement I saw standing in the west side of my circle an image of him in full regalia! This was in the Astral vision(eyes wide open) mind you. He was dressed in red robes, with gold Celtic knot like designs laid vertically down from each shoulder. his hair was very long, white with a long beard. I think there was an emblem of a darker red dragon curled in circle on his breast , His staff was taller than he and looked like twisted dark wood with a glowing orb at the top. This was the source of the pure white light that was radiating outward like a starburst. It was a little unsettling because he was brighter than anything I've seen so far except Raphael & Michael in a successful Astral evocation i had some time ago.
I saw his eyes; a dark color, they looked human to me, as did his face. he had a gold band around his head. I didn't hear anything or really feel anything and it only lasted a few minutes then faded. I don't think this an astral imposter, and it didn't really look like any angel I've seen.
There was no vibration in the air like with Archangels. The light looked like the light of Keter when you draw it down above your head but radiated more. The light did'nt effect the physical room, but was alomost blinding in the astral. His dress reminded me of the Hierophant from the Rider-Waite deck, but without the head-dress; his head looked more like the "Emperor" cards head but with a band of gold instead of the crown and longer hair and beard
There were no gestures or movements for that matter.
I can still see this image burned into my mind.
I got a pleasant soothing feeling after this experience.
I guess there was not much of a presence in the room. It's like I was seeing this image super-imposed on the background of the room, but in 3d full color. This was not a ghostly image or anything like astral entities I've seen.
I'm not really sure how to proceed with this...an invitation perhaps??
any of you more experienced Mages have any suggestions?? How should I go about; "going to where he is"? the tree? I've only worked with angels and a few elementals so really am at a loss here

ps-Its strange how as my abilities increase "intent" sometimes seems to be enough to cause some efftects.
Has Anyone Ever Evoked Myrlin?, Is evokation of Accended Masters possible?
