hi I'm shade, I've been fascinated by all things otherworldly ever since I was small. I took up a big interest in the occult and tarot in my early teens and from there I became further involved in developing my own belief and studying as much about witchcraft, magick and faith as possible.

On a more personal note, I'm Irish, and have been practicing and studying magic for nearly 10 years now. So far all my study, practiceand experimentation has been alone-but I'm finally feelin that perhaps ive come as far as I can on my own. Hence I'm reaching out and looking for like minded people, both online and in Ireland, to help me to continue to learn and grow.

Welcome. I'm in the United States, Missouri to be exact. I've been practicing since I was thirteen. Started out with Ozark folk magick such as washing my face in dew under the full moon. Making circles in the leaves and holding up sticks to call upon the spirit of the forest and that sort of thing. I'm 33 now. I've read that Apalacian and Ozark magick is greatly influenced by Irish and Scottish immigrants.

Welcome Shade

Much of my family came from County Donegal to Canada about 160 years ago. Anyhow most people here have been working by themselves and come here for the camaraderie. The folks here are fairly friendly and some are experienced and well read. You might find this useful. Make yourself at home, and have a look at the sections and threads that seem interesting to you. It will help you to get to know the personalities of the main members, and might teach you a thing or two. Just remember that spell begging isn't allowed till you reach a certain number of posts, and use search before asking questions. Quite often the question has been asked and answered in the forum previously. There isn't much sense in having a whole bunch of threads dealing with the same questions or issues. It clutters things up. Other than that, just have some fun with the people here.

Don't worry. It'll only seem kinky the first time.
