Hello everyone. I've come across this pretty looking forum on a trek across the Wide Web to find a more suitable magick community. I hope this is it. Need more intelligent people to talk to, and from my lurkings you all seem to be a fairly competent lot. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Myself, I work a lot with the runes and a bit of witchcraft. Trying desperately to be a better heathen and physically isolated from anyone who's not a Christian. ( Bleh.) Just me and my trees and what appears to be a coven of storm raisers on the opposite side of the valley whom I've never met.

EDIT: Question. What is that blob that looks like cookie dough under my avatar???

Welcome Kriemhilde

Relax and have a look around. The forum is divided into different sub-forums all of which have threads with different topics. Browse the ones that seem interesting to you. When you are comfortable, join in and start posting. But if you ask a question, you might do a search to see whether or not the same question has been asked and answered before.

You will find that the people here are usually fairly nice and polite. Some are quite experienced and knowledgeable. We have some witches of various sorts, including myself. I also work with runes, although I am still learning. This forum has followers of a lot of different disciplines, Chaotes, Ceremonial Magicians, Wiccans, adepts of Yoga, Qigong, etc.

Have fun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

hello Kriemhilde
welcome to the forum. I personally love witchcraft but I was pushed out by feminist so I am a ceremonial magician and study cunningwort like growing herbs (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) and understanding the seasons etc. witchcraft is so rich and has a wonder full history. use to be full of men and woman. just a shame that woman have taken over and it has moved more into the feminist sphere rather than being balanced. God and Goddess. like it once was. that's why I worship Pan. to try and rebalanced the scales. and my favorite Goddess is hacate.
I like to call myself a warlock rather than witch. it sounds better. once a witch always a witch. something your born with.
I wanna get some runes soon. I have so many tarot but I like things that I can touch and feel. I got some bone runes that work very well. I have a few animal bones. like a goat skull I'm not a vegetarian as you can see. alot of wiccans are vegetarians. I like to cook too. hmmm gardinging and cooking can be witchcraft practices cant it. and knoledge of herbs even pychoactive ones is considered a practice of witchcraft. what do you think?

Blah do I despise feminists. Rarely do I condone book burning, but their's deserve it. x.x!

I love bones. One day I was walking in the forest and stumbled upon a fox skull. The whole thing, even the front fangs and the jaw. It was amazing. <3

I'm actually not into the NA movement at all. o.0 And that's weird, because I know a lot of females like myself.

I have found that British Traditional Wicca is more balanced between male and female than the solitary eclectics. There is still a certain amount of it, but not enough to drive me out. It helps that I'm intimidating looking.
