It's really weird,
i have no luck.
birds always poop on my
my soda always explodes
im always not home when someone calls,
etc etc
and i have horrible charisma
i could just be sitting there and people hate me
i am not socially retarded
and i know how to act
but everyone always tell me they get a creepy vibe from me
and im morbid
and i just suck,
the girl ive liked for half a year, and was my best friend chose the least attractive male in school over me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/06.gif)
sometimes people will try to give me some advice, but they will either start hating me for no explainable reason
or i will say the exact wrong thing at the wrong moment, and they just stop talking to me :/

and then i do magic
none of my spells have ever worked
sometimes they have the opposite effect

i have tried for months to be relentlessly optimistic and expect to (eventually) get the best
but my life has gotten worse even!
and at first i thought i just sucked
which maaay be true,
but then again,
it could also be that there is seriously wrong with my chi or SOMETHING
i mean
some guy i know is always getting all the good deals
and everybody loves him.
HES FAT AND A JERK
Im not THAT ugly, and i be nice
but i get no luck at all.
is there ANYTHING i can do?

i know it sounds like average teenage angst
but no girls have ever been even mildly attracted to me...
and looking for me in a photo is like playing "where's waldo"
FOR MY UNCLE'S WEDDING PHOTO, I SUNK IN BEHIND SOMEONE AND DIDNT EVEN SHOW UP IN THE PHOTO
THATS NOT NORMAL

edit
Heck im probably the only user here with any "warn"

A lot of us have had warnings or conflict on the forum, including me. I've read your posts the past few months, but they are overwhelmingly complaints. Yes, when you are 15 or 16, there is teenage angst. For many people it is the most difficult, unpleasant part of their lives. But whether it is teenaged angst, or chronic depression, you should maybe talk to a counselor, perhaps even talk to a doctor about anti-depression meds. It may be just a temporary condition or it may be something you will have to deal with long term. But you seem to only notice the negative things in your life. Perhaps some positive reinforcement might help. Do you have anyone around you who gives you any praise or encouragement? If not, a counselor would be an especially good idea. You need positive influences in your life. Being around normal healthy people is helpful as it gives you a window into seeing what normal and healthy looks like.

Do something that you can accomplish that will make you proud of yourself. It doesn't have to be anything huge or insurmountable. Pick something to do that can be accomplished without too much stress. When you have raised your self-esteem people will find you more interesting and attractive. Attractiveness and charisma comes from within. Luck generally comes about from a lot of hard work. That is the reality. When you are depressed, it is difficult to make a sustained effort on things. It leaves you with less energy, and makes it more likely that you quit before accomplishing your goals.

Don't worry. It'll only seem kinky the first time.

lol thanks for the reply
it's very inspired and true
except for the part about luck coming from hard work
im a hard worker
i know plenty of hard workers
i know people who dont do anything at all

the number of "lucky" people are disproportionate to their beleifs, or abilities.
their appearance or their drive.

same with charisma.

adalf hitler was charasmatic
yet so was ghandi

i dont think it is entirely a matter of what you do
i think it also has to do with something not really in our control.

but that's why i do magic.
to work on those types of things we have "no control" over.

and i am not a negative person
my life is terrible
and i acknowledge it.

if i did any different,
i would be insane.

i am not complaining as is often construed
i am seeking help for my problems.

and even though you didnt quite give me the sort of answer i was looking for
you replied in a constructive manner.

thank you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I have a similar charisma and luck problem.. I definitely know where you're coming from. I don't know what it is. Most people are quick to dismiss me and I'm usually quiet just because whenever I try to make a joke I'm usually the only one laughing. I feel socially awkward most of the time. I'm positive its a psychological thing. I just tend to think the worst of myself and I get stressed out. Its important to remember that this is a problem that a lot of people go through and you'll eventually get through it, you just have to keep reminding yourself and really work at it. I also recently read that some people get freaked/weirded out when they're around a witch/magician/whatever even if they have no idea that the person is into the occult. They can sense the other-worldliness about them I guess. This might explain some uncomfortable social situations. But I'm sure this can be overcome as well.

It seems like everything in my life is shit sometimes. I can't explain it. But I KNOW it will get better. I just have to make it better through my own doing. I've recently considered going to a counselor but I decided against it so that I can overcome my insecurities on my own which I believe will be much more rewarding.

Best of luck to you, I'm sure that things will improve as long as you are trying

I dont really need to overcome insecurities at all.
i am not very insecure
that is not the problem
i know ther are things i can improve about myself
theres things everyone needs to improve
and im working on that
but its not just that

i dont do anything socially awkward.
people always laugh at my jokes

its more like

people have vibes
ever look at someone and instantly like or dislike them?
is it the way they dress?
maybe?
is it their face?
maybe
is it something else?

have you ever reached a crossroad in your life
i hear those metaphors alot
and its always about wisdom or some bull
but when u ACTUALLY come to a crossroad in life
there is NO obvious choice.

i mean there are some straight up choices
but usually its just
"Hey, want to go to the bar or amusement park tommorow?"

9/10 times i'll chose one, and we'll have a horrible time,
and then someone who goes to the other meets a celebrity or something

is it karma
can i change it
will it be the death of me?

who knows

PS
ever play a card game?
ever win?
i havent

I suggest reading about the Law of Polarity in The Kybalion if you are looking for an actual method of changing your circumstances, read the entire book actually if it so moves you. I have discovered this work recently and I feel that it contains a lot of clearly explained, logical wisdom. it can be found on scribd.com

Stop focusing on the negative, always look for the positive no matter what. Concentrate on finding something good about your life from the time you wake up til you fall asleep. The only way you won't find happiness in this life is if you give up and stop looking.

Karma is in effect whether you realize it or not. Do good and good shall come to you eventually in obvious or not so obvious ways.
