Did a bit of searching for Lelial and came up with another possible name:

Lailah.

From what I can tell they could be interchangeable, although Lailah is more often called an angel of conception, but according to Jewish legend, is also angel of the night.

The value of an individual is not numerically assignable. Given the individual's infinite capacity to affect change (for better or for worse), it follows that their value is just as infinite. Logically then, not only are all individuals of equal value, but all possible combinations and groupings of individuals are of equal value, and finally, no matter an individual's past actions, their capacity to affect positive change is not diminished.

The value of the individual is sacrosanct, but actions must be directed in an effort to affect positive change.

The only reference I could find was on an anime site and a game site (EVAngelicas?) and any number of chatroom trash. The EVAngelicas was the only site to list Lelial as an angel of night (12th angel). Keep the gaming off this Forum!
Otherwise Happy Posting!

lol... it's not gaming Bym.

That site is refering to Neon Genesis Evangelion - an anime with a lot of angelic references (it's about the angels of the end of the world).

http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/view.jsp...A&search=lailah

"A few of these names recur in Enoch, viii. and lxix. The angel of hail is introduced under the obscure name of Yur?emo (Pes. 118a). The angel of night is called Lailah (Sanh. 16a). The one set over the sea, Sar shel yam (Gen. R. x.), is called Rahab (B. B. 74b, after Job, xxvi. 12). He was slain by God at the Creation, because he refused to swallow the water for the drying of the land; and his body is covered by water lest all creatures should perish from his stench (compare also Pes. 118b). The angel set over the rain is Ridya, ("the Irrigator"); according to Kohut, "Jüd. Angelologie," p. 45, Rediyao (Persian, Areduyao, Ardoi); Ta'anit, 25b; Yoma, 21a (Rashi): "He resembles a calf, and is stationed between the upper and the lower abyss, saying to the one, 'Let your waters run down'; and to the other, 'Let your waters spring up.'" Of the seven names of the earth (Ab. R. N. A, xxxvii.; Pesi?. R. K. 155a) seven angel names were formed: (1) Ar?iel, (2) Admael, (3) ?arabael, (4) Yabbashael, (5) 'Ar?iel (compare 'Ar?as, Slavonic Book of Enoch, xxiv. 2), (6) ?aldiel, and (7) Tebliel. They were stationed in the second heaven (see "Merkabah de-Rabbi Ishmael" in Wertheimer's "Bate Midrashot," i. 22."

references taken from Gustav Davidson's A Dictionary of Angels.

"Laila(h) (Lelieil, Lailahel, Layla)
-the name is said to derive from a rabbinic exegesis of the word "lailah" (meaning night) in Job 3:3. In Jewish legendary lore, Lailah is a demonic angel of night, the "prince of conception," to be compared with Lilith, demoness of conception."

Ahhhh - so Lailahel was right as well. I came across that one once, so I was uncertain as to whether to mention it.

given the large number of langauges, that almost all rabbinical and biblical texts have gone through
the plethora of names, is less than surprising...
but unfortunately, it still leaves me with almost no information, still, I thank you muchly.

Don't know if its the same Angel, but there is one called Lelahel who is the 5th Spirit in the ShemHaMephorash (sp?) that is 25-30 degrees of Aries (zodiac sign associated with him).

Memory says that it's a different angel, but I'll be able to find out tomorrow.

Edit:
Lelahel - An angel of the zodiac exercising dominion over love, art, science and fortune. We appeal to this being of light for good luck and good fortune.

Leliel - One of the angelic rulers of the night.

Apparently separate beings, although I'll get a proper confirmation when I can hit the National Library tomorrow.

Double Edit: Yes, they appear to be different angels.
