Shared Dream?, between my friend and I Options

I'm pretty sensitive to paranormal influences, in this realm and the one of dreams. My friend, however, is limited to being directly influenced by spirits inside his dreams. The one I specifically want to ask you guys about is one that we both had occur in the same place, just with different results. We both went to a house, white wooden shingles and stained brown. Very rickety, almost falling over. It's standing by itself in a large field but there are other houses around the field. I biked up to the house with some friends and went inside. Once inside we began exploring (several of my friends had mentioned it being haunted). We went upstairs, searched the dusty, decrepit rooms with moth-bitten curtains and neglected furniture inside. The house was set up so that you walked in the door and there was a staircase to either side (we went up the left, I'm not sure which one we came down). Then there was a hallway leading to the back of the house, which ran perpendicular to a back hallway that led to two ends of the house. We started down the first hallway and just as we were getting to the T of the intersection of the hallways, a skeletal hand shot out from behind the wall on the right side. "there it is!" shouted my friend, and they ran out of the house. I, meanwhile, had for some unknown reason taken my teddy bear (I have a teddy bear that my wonderful older sister brought to the hospital when she first met me after I was born) with me, and the creature (I got the distinct impression "demon" in the dream) waved its arm (just the skeleton of an arm) and he flew to the wall where he was impaled by an electrical plug.

This dream occurred while I was staying with my friend in an old cabin in the Shenandoah mountains.

A few months later he approached me saying he had had a strange dream (I'm working on Dream Psychology by Freud at the moment) and asked me to help him with it. He promptly described the same house my dream had taken place in, but said that he had been alone and ventured down the hallway to the right until he got to another small room, wherein stood a man in a flaming black robe holding a bible. Needless to say, he woke up screaming.

The cabin where I had the dream was haunted; this we and his parents agreed on. I was wondering if you guys think something could have attached to him and affected his dreams (since he had the dream after we left the cabin) and if so, what the dream means and what the entity may be. Is the dream a threat from a malevolent being? A warning from a helpful spirit? I don't know, so I was wondering if you guys do.

i would not think of going to such a haunted place without a quick banishing ritual afters, like taking a bath afterward to get rid of any dust mites or mold spores or whatever might have been there you may have picked up, and naturally you share them with your friends
