I have read a couple books that are good for starters and have looked at allot more. I followed what some people on the forum had said about a book that due to the title I thought was not going to help tell later on. I was WRONG, this has been the best book Ive stumbled across as a WHOLE I am truly happy something kept nagging me to find this book and search for it.

I have not completed this book but even from the first about (4) chapters I have read have gain me allot of knowledge. I have read 5 other books and this has by far been the best one for were I'm at and that is POINT ZERO. Meaning I started with almost nothing but a couple of ideals and theories from the other books I read. This book has broken the basic's down very well and helped me understand them. It also is made up of lessons as the title says so you will be doing exercises and will be working towards something and feel good while doing so.

So if you are looking for a starting point you should get this book. I did not have money so I used a torrent to get it. When I do have money I will buy a copy of this book for the author in my mind has earned it.http://www.amazon.com/Modern-Magick-Lessons-Magickal-Llewellyns/dp/0875423248 - Hyper link was not working this is amazon link nor is spacing it seems so http://www.sacred-magick.org/index.php?showtopic=7579 - Pirate Bay Torrent

@Mods I read the rules to make sure that there was nothing stating I could not post a link to a torrent. If this is against the rules and I missed it and or misunderstood the rules please forgive me and remove this link.

Also wanted to add that I forgot that you should stick to the lessons when they say to WAIT. I just got to the end of lesson one and found it will be 1 month before I get to the next one, I do not think I will wait 1 month but I will give it time so I feel I am comfortable with what I learned and the rituals I am performing before I move on.

p.s did not want to edit first post due to people's lack of wanting to reread post.

welcome to ceremonial magick!

in the meantime do the exercises in tyson's magician's workbook (if you can find one) http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0738700...3835368-4850419

sticking with it is the key

it takes around 28 days for repeated info to percolate into the subconscious, which is where you want it to be, hence the month wait
