New member from Northwest Ohio here seeking to learn and grow through the mutual sharing of ideas, experiences and wisdom.

You might say I'm a somewhat accomplished Freemason, but have studied various occult and spiritual subjects for the past 20 years.

Am particularly interested in Masonic subjects and mysteries, Rosicrucianism, Martinism, Alchemy, Chaos and Pseudoscience/Metascience.

howdy and welcome! - glad to meet you! - i'm not a mason, though i have studied a lot of different material from the knights, to the ionics and the corinthian pseudo-versions, and ther star of course, and even the zamorans have opened some of their books to me, probably in pity lol - interesting organizations all - like most organizations, they are quite wonderful and useful at the bottom and corrupt as hell at the top lol

Cool! Lots of respect for Masonry here, I look forward to your input on these forums from that perspective.

"It sometimes strikes me that the whole of science is a piece of impudence; that nature can afford to ignore our impertinent interference. If our monkey mischief should ever reach the point of blowing up the earth by decomposing an atom, and even annihilated the sun himself, I cannot really suppose that the universe would turn a hair.” --- Aleister Crowley

“We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the Universe. That makes us something very special."
--- Stephen Hawking

Therefore, God is a monkey.

Yeah, there is a conception that Masonry, Thelema, Chaos Magic and other traditions are incompatible. What's more...I consider myself a Christian!

So... am I a Chaote merely following a Christian Paradigm? (Probably not a true Chaote in the strictest sense them, nor definitely a "christ-ian" according to the church-on-the-hill sense of the term) I consider myself a Thelemite... on the other hand... all of these things are just labels and I am more interested in knowledge, growth and learning than fitting into any particular single paradigm...so... add all that up and it confuses the hell out of people, including sometimes me.

Questions about masonry...send them my way, if I can answer I will.
