Reintroduction, Formal reintroduction after a long absence Options

It's been some time since I've posted in the forums, so I feel it's time that I properly
reintroduce myself and my current path...

I am Ouroboros - feel free to call me Ouro for short, or Kevin if you prefer personal
names. I am a Southern California native, raised Catholic until I was twelve years old,
after which I left the church (and organized religion) entirely. During my teen years I
explored world religions until I discovered Pagan Spirituality when I was 16. In the teen
years since my initial affirmation as a Polytheist, I have explored Traditional and
Eclectic forms of Wicca and Witchcraft, The Western Mystery Tradition, and
Reconstructionist Paganism, to which I am now apart of - specifically, Hellenismos.

Currently, I am exploring Hellenismos within the context of both religious practice and
mysticism, and though much of Hellenismos finds magical practice to be hubris, I
personally believe that not all theurgic practices are hubristic (heretical); As such, I
consider myself to be philosophically a Neoplatonist, and I have a considerable amount
of study and interest in the Greek Mystery Schools such as Orphism, The Dionysian
Mysteries, and The Eleusian Mysteries. That being said, I believe that true mystical
practices, whether theurgic or religious, all are striving towards The One, and hence The
Great Work, as it has been called.
