Elemental Correspondences Options

I would just like to put this out there, not as an insult to you or anyone else Vital, but just as a matter of fact that people may find relevant.

I have been using elemental magic all my life. There has never been a time where I have used any of these extensive correspondences, rituals, etc. I've had massive success with my workings and there's never been a problem working without these things. IMO, the elements are primal forces of creation and destruction that don't really care how they're summoned or why; they just do what they're told and go back to their previous work.

While these may help people focus their energy, you can't pull off your elemental magick in a time-efficient way if you rely on them, and I've found ways to use the elements without touching these things.

Well Ethereal, I do agree that certain magicks require very little ritual or correspondences, but I find that correspondences such as these are the foundation for greater truths. There is so much to our universe that we don't know that the only way I even feel comfortable living in it is to know all that I can about anything and everything that may matter after death. But in all truthfulness, I don't really use them in my workings either! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
