The first sigil I've made.
Now, see if you can guess what does it do, elements, planets, or anything else used or imbedded in it. I'm keeping my mouth shut (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angel.gif)

It may not be a sigil of befuddling... but it's doing a very good job.

The value of an individual is not numerically assignable. Given the individual's infinite capacity to affect change (for better or for worse), it follows that their value is just as infinite. Logically then, not only are all individuals of equal value, but all possible combinations and groupings of individuals are of equal value, and finally, no matter an individual's past actions, their capacity to affect positive change is not diminished.

The value of the individual is sacrosanct, but actions must be directed in an effort to affect positive change.

Considering the Presence of what appears to be Saturn, "Earth", and "Water" it seems likely that it has something to do with agriculture, in some way, although I have an inkling in the back of my mind that growth or fertility might just be involved in some way.

Edit:

Looking at it again, maybe more significance on earth then water?

No saturn there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif) and got nothing to do with agriculture. But I can tell you I put a few planetary energies in - with one governing planet, it as well influence of the elemental quarters.

I was wondering what Ash was talking about. I couldn't find saturn in there.

Ok, I'm picking water and air (specifically water over air). It's also interesting to note that it looks like there's an air within air.

At the bottom, it looks like a... combination of mars and mercury? I'm also noting a neptune above that (very sneakily integrated).

Also, something I just noticed is that the water-over-air seems to be resting on a balance of the sun and moon.

Now as to what it does... I have no idea. Something internal I'm guessing.

I wonder why you say it looks like there's an air within air Zahagiel. Which part of the sigil makes you think that?

Upright triangle with a line through it, at the pinnacle of a larger upright triangle with a line through it - air within air.

I might be completely off base though.

Quite right. It is the cabbalistic element of air actually. Your guesses were close Zahagiel.

Ok. The sigil is actually made for my servitor called Sophia ... ups (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif) Well, she was just born recently, so I'll make another thread sharing my methods and her office if anyone want to benefit from her.

Ahhh - I was wondering if it had something to do with balancing a personality... but I couldn't figure out why or how you'd do that.

(oh, and it's a q, not a g - Zahaqiel).

I can't believe nobody noticed the massive ankh spread across the entire sigil (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shok.gif)

Top-down analysis of details:

an i-ching diagram composed of jins alone

water triangle

sun and moon (duality-balance)

the elemental triangles of air and fire

the mathematical sign for null

All in all, I would estimate it is something intended to induce balance in life.

Rakesh, excellent!
The triangle and the ankh was the very first symbol I planted there and serve as the skeleton for the rest of the sigil. You're also the first person to note the I Ching symbol.

Balance - yup - very much, with a lil help from Nero and Drop, the sigil is now well balance as far as I can tell.

Hmm,
Triangle=earth element/physical
Ankh=eternal life
sigils of mercury and mars
circle=eternity.
Something that reminds me of Marduk's sword.
A talisman for eternal life and astral power?

Well, I am a complete newb to chaos magick, but as to the sigil you made, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clapping.gif)
I thought you did a very good job on making it. It looks awesome. But as to what it does, I have no idea (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush2.gif). But good job on making it!
Thanks,

At first, I kept thinking, "I thought sigils weren't supposed to be decipherable?" but I kept looking at everyone's interpretation of "water" and "earth"... despite the glowering orange / yellow, I felt it was positive in some fashion.

So how do you decipher a sigil??? I was brainless the entire time... but it's pretty. n_n

... "but it's pretty." Gods, I sound like a tard. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/5.gif)

I think we can decipher sigils since most of us work with the same symbols and associations. It make sense to me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
