Cicero is brought up to date and "expanded" - it has other Middle Pillar rituals from the Gaelic and Shamanic MP to a Greek version, it is an improvement from what I can see. I would recommend it from my own point of view.

I think it's a matter of personal taste. I tend to prefer working with the original versions, but I'm not averse to the updates either.

I can only speak for The Middle Pillar friend, but with the Cicero version of the book, all you'll get is some editing of course (not necesarilly a bad thing, but some other's disagree in this case) and a bunch of "Filler" material that form part 2 of the book.

Now, to be "fair", perhaps some magicians would get something from part 2. I got very little from it, but this was also due to my readings done elsewhere (In much better, i.m.o.) sources. The best way to decide for yourself would be to go to your library and borrow the book (they'll have the Cicero version). If you need or want to study part 2, you can then decide friend (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (Though I'll mention, you'd probably be better off getting books, or reading articles online that actually cover the topics discussed in part 2, in a more indepth fashion. For that matter, everything covered in part 2 you can find online. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I hope this was helpful (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Good question. I've had the same feeling regarding their "editing". Something to about them doesn't entirely sit right with me. *shrugs* Glad I'm not the only one who questions their validity.
