Age N/a ? Options

I have noticed most members do not mention their age on their profiles. And use age N/A. I find this a bit odd. You are the age you are according to your birthdate so why not mention it? I am 53 yrs myself. I know age is just a number. There are mature young adults way beyond their years etc I think if people would just state their age things would be easier. On the forum I sometimes read posts not knowing a persons age does not help in trying to reply.

I agree and also when I see someone that is 115, I have to wonder, I will be 72 in a couple of months and feel thirty, in fact I am healthier now than I was at thirty. Maybe more appropriate than calendar age would be how long someone has been studying magick and how long they have been practicing it, with results.

I think younger people like to hide that because maybe they think its easier to appear wise if their voice still cracks. I think you get a little more respect online if your age is older and you seem alright otherwise. I really am 22 though ha.

I took it to be a young joke indicating a belief that older people don't have a need for girlfriends or boyfriends other than as platonic friends. Just so you know, us old geezers do mostly have love lives. But most of us are involved in long term relationships. And yes your parents still do have sex. lol

Mostly I can tell approximately how old someone is even when they don't have their age posted. But some people might act immature and fool me into thinking that they are younger than they really are, or act more mature than average and make me think they are a bit older. Generally though you can tell at least within 10 years how old they are.
