 Familiars, Goetia and familiars

Would it be possible to as a goetia spirit to bind one of their spirits to you and reside in the physical world to act as your companion in the traditional witchcraft sense. Would the familiar's behaviors and offices be limited to that of the Goetia spirit, or does each one have its personality and will?
