Just wondering why, question on the membership thing Options

Saw that you requested a small donation to access the library and figured that was fair enough... gave a cc # and recieved a confirmation telling me what to expect to see on the cc statement...then ....NOTHING....ok,,,waited a few days and sent an e-mail to your webmaster....recieved a confirmation that the e-mail was recieved & now....NOTHING.....it's not really been that long....but you have so much GOOD STUFF I'M DIEING TO DIG INTO!!! There is NO username or password available to access the library as we're still developing membership software. The library is temporarily locked down.

There is no small donation requirement to access downloads so please don't donate to get download access because it's a seperate thing. Your donation has been refunded.

To recap and summarize from other threads:
SM Membership will be available at $"x"/month fee, prepaid for a year which will give you "x" download credits valid for a year. Most files will be set to a default "x" credit which will deduct itself from your total download credits each time you choose to download a file. A few files will be set to different credit values depending on the size and the value of it.

"x" denotes a price/value which will not be discussed here.

Basically, we develop a system where you can pay for your own bandwidth + support our costs and efforts in developing, maintaining and expanding the site.

You can send a blank email with "Waiting List" on the subject to: webmaster at sacred-magick.com if you want to be added and notified when we're able to take your subscription.

Future new threads on this subject will be deleted without notice.

Ok um, so what is up with the whole membership thing? What is the matter with downloading for free? For one, knowledge should be free for anyone to learn. For another, some of the Grimoires you have in your library specifically state that they should be given freely.

Apart from that, SM still has a large selections of freebies I've handpicked and you can always GOOGLE to find even more freebies (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

The Writings of Crowley page has been set again to free and will always be free.

Will there be an option to just pay for what you download rather than pay by the month or pre pay for a year?

And on a side note, would it be posible (and maybe save bandwidth) to down load the ENTIRE libray on a zip folder? one time download useing X dumber of credits? (X being quite large but maybe smaller than the sum of individual downloads)

And on a third note, how soon before you exspect the software to be completed.
